Dr. Alexandria Nguyen-Johnson, ND, LAc

As a naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist, Dr. Alexandria Nguyen-Johnson works to promote your wellbeing using a holistic and individualized approach. She strives to meet her patients where they are and supports her patients to achieve their health goals. Using clinical and laboratory diagnostic testing as needed to identify and treat the root cause of dis-ease. She is trained in primary care, with a focus on women’s health, hormone regulation, menopause, pediatrics, family medicine, healthy weight management, thyroid disorders, skin conditions, chronic illnesses, and oncology. 

Dr. Alexandria believes in the healing power of nature, she is trained in herbalism and botanical medicine and has a passion for plant medicine. Promoting the philosophy of Food as Medicine, she works with her patients to optimize their diet and nutrition, using food to nourish and heal the body.

Incorporating Chinese Medicine philosophy and techniques into her treatment approach she uses acupuncture and body work to help rebalance the body. Dr. Alexandria practices Japanese style acupuncture, which is gentile and effective for pain management, headaches, digestive disturbances, menstural symptoms, fertility support, menopausal symptoms, and other conditions

Dr. Alexandria completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon where she received her Bachelors of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Human Biology and Ecology and a minor in Chemistry. During her time there she worked in the Developmental Biology lab studying Zebrafish and the FancL gene mutation. She attended National College of Natural Medicine and graduated in 2016 with a Doctorates in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters in Acupuncture. She completed a six month internship in Naturopathic Midwifery and has received advanced training in Woman’s Health, Pediatrics, IV Therapy, Nutrition, and Botanical Medicine. 

She is passionate about the outdoors and loves gardening, hiking, camping, fly fishing, and taking her dog Bess for a run. She loves experimenting with recipes and finding creative ways to take traditional recipes and making them gluten and dairy free for her family and friends.
